perfect!
The Lord has always got His timing perfect … jaw drop! yes, he did it again!
I’ve been working on job applications since Jan this year… amidst classes, ministry and doing my bit in organising the Oceania Convention / Empower Conference / Easter Camp (whichever’s the more preferred name). 2-3 job applications progressed and looked positive. But I honestly had this question in my heart (& journal) “how am i gonna cope if i start work now that it’s leading up to the OC?” and “how am i gonna cope with ministry and studies if it’s a full-time job?” (most job ads were full-time)
Cut the long story short, 3 days prior to OC (and Easter public holidays), the big call came and said they’d like to take me on. I boldly stated that I’d be available to start week after Easter Monday. They said ok! Turned out that i had 2 weeks post-OC before starting work. i believe God gave that to me so i could rest up
It’s a part-time (3 day week) job… which gives me time for ministry and studies… very relevant to my area of study. And the project’s very relevant to my area of interest & calling. I’m trully amazed at God’s divine intervention.
First week at work was awesome!
Looking back on my journal dated 20th Feb 09… where i confessed my uncertainties and insecurities in life … (next entry)
