Portland, Lorna & I

Couple of weeks ago, Lorna and I drove to Portland for a GP visit (work). Stayed one night at Central Motel Motor Inn at Port Fairy and took another 4.5 hrs drive back to the office the following morning.

What did we do for 4.5hrs in the car? LOL… we’re girls! Do we ever run out of things to do? We talked and talked and talked and talked… and laughed, and debated, and talked and talked… what about? we’re girls! Do we ever run out of things to talk about? Had an awesome time, as u may tell.

Lorna’s Irish… and along the way, she saw an Irish flag on one of the shops and read a sign that was a famous place in Ireland. She stopped the car by the road and took photos of the sign & the flag! Then Lorna said the cows & the smell reminded her of Ireland! So i took photos of the cows! hehe

We couldn’t resist a quick (5 mins felt like 5 secs) stop at one of the beaches near Port Fairy… just to get a taste of the crisp, 8 degree sea air on our faces (& thru our bones! it was freezing!!!) and sand in our shoes!

where’s Portland i hear u say? Check it out… the fastest route with toll roads takes 4.5 hours drive from Melbourne University!!!!
