ugly, geeky or taken!
I had such a ball of a time last night with the High School girls! Good times, i call it. We talked, cringed, debated, mused, ate cup cakes, complain, (man, there’s some really sick people out there!) about the kinda stuff girls feel comfortable talking about with girls they trust… cracked up laughing over statements like:
“they’re either ugly, geeky, or taken… the good ones are always taken!”
“so do u sit down with a guy and check your criteria list?!”
“the one brick distance rule”
“here’s my phone number and email address… i’m looking for a wife.”
“do people who are celibate wanna get married?… am i celibate?”
“get the ruler out… the six-inch distance rule”
“don’t hug guys… do high-fives & hand hugs”
“get to know ourselves while single … do the Myer-Briggs test!”
If only we had more time! *sigh* At the end of the night… i think the message was very clear… Purity is not a line; it is a direction, a determined pursuit of righteousness.
I’ve been again inspired to live a life that pursues righteousness… to have my conscience clear before God, to be able to stand in the presence of the Lord with hands clean & heart pure, to walk in His anointing and to aim for the highest moral standard.
