sunday reflections
- Yesterday we had the privillege of having Sue Carpenter and Carolyn Boyd who specialise in Children’s Ministry bring entertainment, the Word, and ministry to us…to the children and the adults. I’d first met Sue and Carolyn in 2001 when i volunteered for the Southern Cross Kids’ Camp and man, were they my inspiration! If one can minister & bring the Word so simply yet so powerfully to a child’s heart & mind, surely the ministry & the Word will touch adults too… for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these (children).
- At the KFC front, the KFC Team yesterday gathered in the little corridor in between the male & female toilets (which somehow reminds me of how the Jews hid from the Nazis)… we’re gearing up for Born To Fly month – KFC running in the nature of BTF… or BTF in the nature of KFC. Whichever way it is, we trully pray that children will come to know the love of Jesus & making Him the Lord of their lives during this time. Then right after BTF month, it’s Kids’ Prayer Praise Party! It’s gonna be awesome! We’re believing God to speak to & thru the children (& teachers)… a time of waiting on the Lord & praying thru the things on God’s heart. We are in a time & age where the church so needs to rise up in prayer & intercession & move in the Spirit like never before.
- In the arvo, we celebrated Justin’s birthday with a half melted icing cake! That was interesting & entertaining.
- I’d say the last meeting i had was the epitome…
