why the journey?

I named my blog “The Journey” because life is a journey (has certainly been twisted & unexpected thus far!) and I’d like to share it with you. I (think I) am a rather transparent person with my thoughts, my struggles, with the issues in my heart… both you and I know there is no straight path (to wherever we’re heading), and no one has got it altogether right… but there is a path that promises a life of abundance. That path is a life with Jesus.

I am aware that God knows my thoughts and the issues of my heart intimately, (you may or may not know this). I have complete confidence that He’s got plans to prosper me, to give me a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11), but when i get there and simply say “I got here”, you would’ve missed out on all the excitement – the journey.

Perhaps, through this journal of my journey, you’ll discover (or you might already know) that both our lives have one thing in common – Someone desires to journey with us (not just for a lifetime on earth, like a life partner. But) eternally.

God’s plan for & knowledge of you & I is much bigger & deeper than you (& I) think! “How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand.” (Psalm 139:17-18) and yes, I have experienced some of that. I may draw out some of that past, mostly the present & possibly the future as I find it. I hope my life will prove it to you & leave you in awe of an Almighty God.
